Time for another round of covers? I think yes. Here are some Roar covers. Enjoy!

This is by Chester See, Andy Lange, Andrew Garcia, and Josh Golden. They're kind of awesome.

More from Boyce Avenue (because I love Boyce Avenue, a lot) this time featuring Bea Miller.
This one is a little different, but I actually really liked it, so - listen and enjoy Laica's ukulele cover!

Rebecca Shearing - I don't actually know anything about this gal. But I loved that it's a piano cover and she's got a pretty voice, so there ya go.

Haha GIRL POWER. This is definitely the kind of thing me and my friends would have done back in the day. Not too shabby, but not my fave ever.

A friend introduced me to this song, and I quickly became obsessed with it. Hope you enjoy it!

I am SLOWLY learning to play a bunch of different songs on the piano, including this one - "Deathbed" by Relient K.

So this, my friends, is a video of me (gasp) playing the intro to the song Halo by Beyonce on the piano. Yeah, I pretty much just repeat my favorite part over and over, but the lighting was really pretty (even out of focus). Kind of artsy, kind of fun.

Okay guys, I've got a REALLY special treat for you today. I have a good friend who was going to the Air Force Academy a few years ago. Needless to say, they get a little stir crazy there sometimes...and videos like this are created and shared. Here he is (on the right in the Taylor Swift shirt) singing Party In the USA (by Miley Cyrus) shortly after it came out. Enjoy.

I mean.... you're welcome. And don't worry, I got his permission to share this first.

This is a cover of Call Me Maybe (originally by Carly Rae Jepsen) by Us, a husband and wife pair who I personally think are amazing. This is the song that introduced me to them, and it's also one of my favorites of theirs. They put a Mumford and Sons/Lumineers twist on the song, and I might like it more than the original. Check it out!

Panda Express knows me well ;) Also, if you haven't listened to Justin Timberlake's new song "Mirrors" you're missing out. I personally love this eight minute song, yes EIGHT minutes, and the lyrics are phenomenal. Check it out!!

One of my favorite songs right now is called "Something Stupid" and it is by Michael Buble and Reese Witherspoon. I was a little skeptical at first, but I absolutely fell in love with it (and may have listened to it over and over and over...) This song is off of Michael Buble's new album, To Be Loved. Check it out on iTunes or Spotify or whatever you use - here's a Youtube link!

Music! There are few hours during the day when I'm not listening to music. It's always amazed me how well some artists can express what I'm thinking, or how I am feeling. I know there are countless other people out there who feel the same way, too. This page is for you guys.

As far as being musically talented goes, really, I'm not. I play the piano by ear (and I love watching good tutorials on Youtube to learn new songs!) because even though I took two or three years of piano lessons as a child, I can't read a lick of music. It's a fun hobby for me, and I love having it as an outlet if I'm feeling down, frustrated, or happy... I guess I love having it as an outlet no matter what mood I'm in, now that I think about it!

Singing.... let's be honest, this saying pretty much sums me up:

"Things I'm bad at: singing.
Things I do all the time: sing."

(I had it pinned on one of my boards on Pinterest... but it magically disappeared! So sad.)

I love to sing, but I do not sing very well. I do have some friends with absolutely beautiful voices, and I might (if I can get their permission) share some of their talent on this page.

I will be sharing Youtube videos, links, lyrics, and everything else pertaining to music in this section of my blog, and you are more than welcome to share your own music in the comments section (or by clicking here and sending it to me in an email if you'd rather do it privately) and I will be happy to check it out/share it with my followers!

p.s. I should warn you, I listen to just about EVERY genre of music known to man, so you will find a very wide compilation of music here. I hope you find something you love!
